DRUMS or Violin with WMS' Jeff Harrigfeld
Jeff Harrigfeld is the co-owner of the Woodstock Music Shop and is a seasoned drummer and violinist with over 20 years of experience in both instruments. Beginning drummers will learn how to use the metronome and practice pad before moving on to a full kit. Learn classical violin or fiddle here in the store! MANDOLIN and GUITAR with Raphael Garritano
Raphael Garritano has been performing on the guitar and mandolin for thirty years. He has performed solo and with other musicians in New York City, Los Angeles and locally. He is the co-founder with Christopher Strone of the Sol Sonato consort that performs medieval and renaissance music. Recently, Garritano has formed "Passero", a world beat ensemble that is currently composing and recording its first CD. He has been teaching guitar, mandolin and music theory at schools, music stores and privately for over twenty years.

FIDDLE by Katie Jeannotte
Katie Jeannotte teaches violin, viola, and guitar at her home in Shokan besides playing keyboard and stringed instruments for local dances and other events. She taught vocal and general music in elementary schools in Newburgh and Beacon, NY, as well as private violin lessons. After relocating to the Catskills she taught elementary strings in the Onteora School District for 15 years until retirement in 2002.

GUITAR AND SONGWRITING with DB Leonard
Have you ever asked yourself what makes a song memorable? Explore the creative process behind songwriting while using your voice to create something unique! Experience the collaborative process while working with other members of the class as we discover the highlights and the pitfalls of creating a song.
We will:
-Understand the arrangement, dynamics and song structure
-Create chord progressions, melody & lyrics
-Channel, gather & manipulate lyrics to serve the song
DB Leonard has been a faculty member at the 92nd Street Y School of Music in Manhattan, Barnard University, the Castle School in Cambridge, and the New England School for Little Wanderers. His new record, "Infinity Sessions" was released in 2009. He performs solo and with his band in New York and abroad.

GUITAR by Steve Silver
Steve has over 30 years of guitar and music experience studying privately and in college at Monterey Peninsula College, College of the Redwoods, University of California and Santa Cruz and Musicians Instititute (G.I.T). While at Musicians Institute, Steve stidied with Robben Ford and Pat Martino, as well as attending seminars with Joe Pass, Allan Holdsworth and Tommy Tedesco. He went on to play and record in many styles, including rock, blues, R&B, jazz and fusion, as well as teaching guitar privately. Recent projects include composition, sound design and recording for the three-part documentary film, "The Power of Peace" and Cinematic World Fusion music of Animirror with his wife and musical partner Anais Silver.
