The Colony Cafe will host The Duhks on Sunday, August 2, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $16 (includes $1 service fee) and are available at the Woodstock Music Shop.
The Duhks is a five-piece Canadian band whose music is described as a blend of soul, folk, gospel, zydeco and old-time country, with a splash of Latin influence. Their first two albums – “Your Daughters & Your Sons” and “The Duhks” – were nominated for a Juno award, presented annually to Canadian artists and bands for their achievements in music. “Heaven’s My Home,” a song from their 2006 “Migrations” album, was nominated for a Grammy award in the Best Roots & Traditional Album by a Group category.
